IMAGEDIT is operated by Lee, an individual doing business as 'IMAGEDIT', located in Shanghai, China. References in these Terms to "IMAGEDIT", "we", "us", and "our" mean Lee doing business as IMAGEDIT. To contact us about these Terms or any account matter, write to support@imagedit.co.

These Terms of Service govern your use of IMAGEDIT (the website at imagedit.co and the image-editing services we provide through it). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

Acceptance of terms

You accept these Terms by using IMAGEDIT in any way — for example, by uploading an image, running an edit, creating an account, or making a purchase. If you are using IMAGEDIT on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and the organization accepts these Terms through your use.

Who we are

IMAGEDIT is an image-editing service. You upload an image, we run machine-learning models on it to produce an edited result (for example removing the background, erasing an object, or upscaling the resolution), and we deliver that result back to you. The operator of the service is Lee, an individual doing business as 'IMAGEDIT', located in Shanghai, China. You can reach us at support@imagedit.co.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use IMAGEDIT. By using the service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using IMAGEDIT on behalf of an organization, you represent that the organization meets equivalent requirements.

Your account

You sign in to IMAGEDIT using a magic link or one-time passcode sent to your email; we do not use passwords. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security issue, contact us promptly at support@imagedit.co. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your account has been compromised or used in violation of these Terms.

Your content

"You" means the individual or organization whose images and inputs are submitted to the service. You retain ownership of the content you upload (including images and any inputs you provide), and these Terms do not transfer that ownership to us.

When you submit content to IMAGEDIT, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and deliver your content solely as needed to provide the service you requested — for example, to run the requested edit on your image, store the result temporarily, and return it to you. This license ends when your content is deleted in line with our retention schedule (uploaded images and results are kept for 7 days and then deleted), and it does not include any right to use your content to train our models or for any purpose other than providing the service.

You represent and warrant that:

• you own the content you submit, or you otherwise have all rights and permissions needed to submit it and grant the license above; and
• the content you submit, and your use of the service, do not infringe anyone else's intellectual property or other rights and do not violate any applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. Without limiting the general obligation to use IMAGEDIT lawfully, you will not:

• submit content that is unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or that depicts sexual content involving minors (including any CSAM), or non-consensual intimate imagery;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, extract, or otherwise derive the source, structure, sequence, or organization of our models, software, or infrastructure, except to the limited extent applicable law expressly prohibits these restrictions;
• interfere with, disrupt, or overload the service, its infrastructure, or any provider or network that supports it;
• build automated systems (scrapers, crawlers, bots) that access the service in a way that exceeds normal interactive human use, except where explicitly authorized by us;
• circumvent, disable, or tamper with any rate limit, quota, billing mechanism, or technical protection we put in place; or
• resell, sublicense, or provide access to the service to third parties on a standalone or competitive basis without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate access, delete content, and take other measures to prevent abuse.

AI / ML outputs

The edits IMAGEDIT produces are generated by machine-learning models applied to the images you submit. AI-generated outputs can be imperfect and may not always reflect reality; you are responsible for reviewing any output before relying on it, publishing it, or using it for any consequential purpose. We make no guarantee that any output will be accurate, complete, suitable for any particular purpose, or free of error.

Credits and billing

Some features of IMAGEDIT require credits or a paid plan. When you make a purchase, the transaction is handled by our billing provider, Creem. By purchasing credits or a subscription, you agree to Creem's terms as well as the pricing and plan terms presented at the time of purchase.

• Credits are consumed when you export an edited result at HD quality; preview-quality edits are free. Credits do not expire solely due to inactivity but may expire on the terms communicated with a specific purchase or plan.
• Anonymous rate limits. If you use the service without an account, your usage is limited by device-based rate limits (a small monthly number of edits per device). Signing up grants additional free credits, and paid plans grant higher limits.
• Refunds. Refunds, where applicable, are handled in line with Creem's refund policy and the terms communicated with your plan. We are unable to issue refunds outside that process.
• Recurring billing. Subscription plans renew on the cycle shown at purchase until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.

Free and paid tiers

IMAGEDIT offers both free and paid tiers. Free usage is subject to rate limits and may produce preview-quality rather than HD output. Paid plans provide higher limits, HD outputs, and other features as described on the pricing page. We may change plan pricing, limits, and features, and may add or remove tiers; any change to a plan you have already purchased will take effect at the start of your next renewal cycle, after reasonable notice.

Intellectual property

The service — including its design, software, models, the IMAGEDIT name and logo, and other associated intellectual property — is owned by IMAGEDIT and its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trade names, trademarks, service marks, or other branding except as strictly necessary to refer to the service in good faith.

As described above, the content you submit remains yours. Any edited output you receive from the service based on your content is provided to you for your use, subject to these Terms.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our suppliers disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, and any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any result will be accurate or meet your expectations. Because the edits are produced by machine-learning models, the results may be imperfect, and we make no representation that any output is fit for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will IMAGEDIT — or its suppliers, processors, or affiliates — be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the extent the law allows, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the amount you have paid us through the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or, if you have not made any purchase, the minimum amount required to make this limit enforceable. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct in jurisdictions where such limits are void).

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold IMAGEDIT — and its suppliers, processors, and affiliates — harmless from any claim, demand, loss, damages, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your breach of these Terms, or your misuse of the service. We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense of any matter for which we are entitled to indemnification, in which case you will cooperate with us in asserting any available defenses.

Termination

You can stop using IMAGEDIT at any time. You can delete your account by writing to support@imagedit.co. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service, or remove your content, if you violate these Terms, if we reasonably believe you have misused the service, or as otherwise necessary to protect the service or our users. When your access ends, the licenses you granted to us for your content end and your content is deleted in line with our retention schedule. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law — will remain in effect.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the service are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts having jurisdiction in Shanghai, People's Republic of China. You and IMAGEDIT agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally before initiating proceedings. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make a material change — one that substantially affects your rights or obligations — we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example by displaying a notice in the service or, where appropriate, by email). Your continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
